About the author
Yes, this is written in third person.
This blog’s scribe is a curmudgeon, a grump, and a grognard, long in the tusks, and has an orcish sensitivity to daylight.
His GM career spans over three decades and he has spent over two thousand RPG sessions behind the screen, from all-nighters with groups of a dozen clamoring players in the UK, to pay-to-play games at stores and conventions in the USA.
He made his first forays into the RPG world without realizing it, world-building and running ‘mind stories’ for his peers before realizing there were rules systems with dice for that kind of thing. ‘Fighting Fantasy’ was his gateway drug in the early eighties before getting into the actual class A, rules-heavy systems.
He has had experience with dozens of RPGs since then, delving into fantasy, horror and science fiction, but his favored evolution is 1st edition AD&D through to 3.75 (1st edition Pathfinder).
He has also worked on a number of his own designs, largely consigned to the perfectionist’s Hell Of Infinite Playtesting. His list of simultaneous writing projects usually averages forty at a time and he’d like you to believe there is a grand design regarding their release into the wild.
Maybe there is.
